This is about Randy Chongloi, Tony Haokip and Mikey John Cymte
The first morning in Munirka
It was an eary morning of 11th Nov 2017, chilly and misty weather. Tony, Randy and me boarded a cab from Munirka, South Delhi to reach our destination Bikaner, Rajasthan at 07:00 hr.
It took us around 45 minutes to reach Sarai Rohilla railway station, Delhi. As it was our first time going to Bikaner in a train, we have no idea about the exact location of the platform, where we are suppose to board the train. We started looking for inquiry booth, got the exact location of the platform, bought some snacks, water, Coca Cola and board the train. The three of us got the same compartment, as it was still early for the train to move, we took out a bottle of Whiskey and unite with Coca Cola. The outcome was astonishing and the best part was nobody knew that we were drinking Whiskey along with Cola. Hell Yeah!
Train departure from Delhi
According to the timing mention in our ticket, the train was suppose to leave @ 09:15 A.M, but as you know we are in India, so we departed around at 09:50. A.M. The three of us got engaged in talking anything blah, blah, blah and lots of blah. Tony was the one who got big mouth (blah9) given to him by the blended liquid. After 3 hr of riding, Tony got exhausted, could not open his eyes anymore and the reason is, he did not sleep and was drinking Whiskey the other night. He climbed to the upper berth and took a nap, in the meantime Randy and me continue with blah9 and blah again as the whole compartment was almost empty.
Bikaner Railway Station and Indian Army
It was late in the afternoon when we reached Bikaner railway station.
We took our rucksack, disembark from the Iron Horse and moving on to the exit.
On the way to exit we saw some Indian military personal in combat uniform carrying their own duffel bag. I was surprise when I saw a shoulder batch mentioning Assam Regiment in one of the soldier. Right away, I said to Randy and Tony, hey guys they are boys from Assam Regiment. We were like ah uh ah uh ah opening our mouth because we never expect that we will meet the boys from Assam Regiment in Rajasthan. We are from Manipur, Northeast of India, Assam Regiment and Naga Regiment are the only Indian Army Battalion raised from the Northeast of India. Soon as we are out of from the exit “hell break down” all the rickshaw and Taxi driver were approaching us, surrounding us and shouting Sir, where going? Thinking us that we were from a foreign country hahahahaha. The first time identity mistaken in Rajasthann. Cheers to them, poor fellows they down know how ethnically diverse is India. I spoke in Hindi, suddenly their expression change and still they were asking Rs. 150 for the place where we want to go. They have no idea about the conversation I had with Mr. Vinoo, the owner of Vinoo Guest House. Mr. Vinoo told me to pay Rs. 50 or 60 only from Railway Station till his Guest House.
Vinoo Guest House
I end up paying Rs. 80, but no regrets of paying extra 20 bill. Let’s say a tip of 20 bill for the driver.

We unpack our rucksack, change our dress, wash up and relax for sometime.
Looking for Whiskey and Beer
It was almost dusk when I went downstairs to Mrs. Vinoo asking her if we can get a Beer or Whiskey? Her response was yes, we can get a Beer and that would cost us Rs. 180 for a Beer, unfortunately no Whiskey. I said, I will be back if we need the Beer then went upstairs to my buddy. So sad, the price is too much nah nah nah nah nah ungahhhhhh arghhhhhh. I told everything to my buddy about the conversation I had with Mrs. Vinoo about the price of Beer and Whiskey. Needless to say, they both get disappointed, so we decided to forage for what we seek. Before we went out I spoke with the daughter in-law of Mr. Vinoo about our dinner, we choose Rajasthani Special Thali for that particular evening, since it’s our first time in Rajasthan, so we decided to have the special thali. The price is only Rs. 130 for a thali, more than good enough. Cheers! It was dusk already when we went out from the Guest House, I start asking people were to get Beer and Whiskey. Luckily, a rickshaw driver pull up in front of us, I asked him the place to get the needful? He said he can take us there, instantly cheerfulness appear within the three of us. We hopped in the rickshaw on the way to get Beer and Whiskey, reached the wine store in a blink of an eye..LOL. We bought a bottle of Imperial Blue, a cane of Beer and snacks, came back in the same rickshaw, paid him Rs. 80 and thank him for helping us get what we need. As we need some more provision, we went to a shop, bought a cucumber, cigarettes and dispo glass.
Annoyed being called a Nepalese
The 3 of us left the shop and while crossing the road we heard the vegetable seller talking loudly to somebody, telling the other person that we are Nepalese, at that moment Tony and Randy got annoyed, extremely to Tony. I cheer up both my buddy, telling them to let it go because they are just a vegetables seller who have never been out of their city. The second time identity mistaken in Rajasthann. Annoyingly we went back to the Guest House, borrow a plate, knife and purchased 5 bottles of water from the Guest House. Riding in a II Class train whole day, now it was time for some festivity.
The Italian guy
There was an Italian guy called Lorenzo who stayed in the same Guest House, he too joined us in the festivity. Round about 10:30 P.M. the 3 of us had our dinner and jumped into our bed.

Morning breakfast and Babu the guide
Next day I woke up around 07:30 in the morning. The other night Mr. Vinoo told me that we need to get ready before 8:30 for Camel Safari, which was our main cause in Bikaner. I woke up both my buddy, ordered our breakfast (Gobi Parantha and Black Tea) all of us had 2 pieces of Parantha each and a pot of Black Tea. The most humorous thing was the guy who served us breakfast (Babu) the tour guide for Camel Safari. Third time identity mistaken in Rajasthann, he too think that we are foreigner, he spoke in some broken English, I respond everything in Hindi, but he still keep using English. I told him that we are Indian and still got a respond in English that’s what made us chuckle. Done with our breakfast, we paid the amount of Rs. 1600 each for the Safari. New and unexplored lands awaits for us beyond limits. The Safari include a 20 Km ride in a car from the town to the spot were we have to mount on top of a Camel to start the Safari, 4 Ltr of water for 1 person each, lunch in the afternoon and coming back in the evening by car.
On the way to Rasisar
We board Mr. Vinoo car and moving on to the highway along with the guide Babu the mind-altering.
On the way Mr. Vinoo played some track, which he composed and sung by him as well. It was a Rajasthani Hindi Folk song about a wood, telling the entire world how important is the wood in our daily life. I like the lyrics though, but we were not interested in Rajasthani Hindi Folk song. We reached a tiny hamlet known as Rasisar and that’s the place where we will begin our Safari.
Tiny hamlet of Rasisar
Mr. Vinoo took us in a house, there were little boys and girls playing around. The kids start shouting and laughing when they saw us, asking personal questions. Now, it seems we are surrounded by lots of kids, in fact there are lots of kids.

Tony with Mehendi
Tony is not so fluent in Hindi, so I asked the girl how much do we owe her for the Mehendi? Her response was heart touching, she said we can pay whatever we want. Tony paid her Rs. 100 and I can see many people were whispering when Tony paid that amount. There were more than 10 people in the house from children to grown up. Maybe the amount was less or maybe the amount was more than enough hehehe we have no idea. They offered us Black Tea, the girl asked us the country where we belong. Fourth time in Rajasthan being doubtful about our national identity. We told her we are Indian and I showed her my Aadhar Card, and behold she open her mouth and start laughing, she also got her Aadhar Card and show it to me. I open the navigation in my phone and showed them the exact location were we belong (Manipur) in India. To our astonishment they have never, ever heard our state name in their entire life. Wohh, thanks to the Rajasthani Government for giving their school children a good wisdom. I saw a little girl who look very pretty and innocent, I talked to her but she did not respond me, I tried to touch her hand but then she was so bashful and turn away from me.
This is for the little girl and her name is Manju
Babu (mind-altering) came back about half an hour later. He gave us the half bottle of Whiskey, he look exhausted and explained to us how and where he went to get the Whiskey. We praised him and thank him for what he had done for us, moreover he was given a tip of Rs. 50. Now, I can see Tony dancing in livin lavida loca tune and feeling energetic. One more guy joined us out of nowhere, he look a bit old round about 40 year old. Babu told us that he will be our cart driver. They started loading all the provision in the cart, we checked our gear, all set and here we are ready for the Safari.

Riding a Camel with Babu the mind-altering
All of us walk for 10 to 15 minutes along with our guides and 3 Camel, one pulling the cart and two walking by our side. Randy and me were mount on 2 Camel after the 15 minutes of walking, the rest were on top of the cart. There were 4 guys and a kid on the cart, Babu, 2 more helpers, Tony and the kid. Our journey begins smoothly, sad but true, Randy forgot his Goggle and he was the one suffering with the hot sunlight hitting his eyes hehehe..We traveled for around 20 minutes, suddenly the little boy disembark the cart and started walking in a dry field. I asked our guide where the boy is going? Babu told me that the little boy is going to his field, I thought he was also part of the Safari trip then I realized he was actually getting a lift from us.

The Camel Safari
So moving on to our guide Babu kept talking blah9 now cause of his altering mind. We saw him inhaling a solvent glue, which gave him trip (high in his own world), but we did not say anything and behave as if we did not see a thing . We stop for a while on the way again nearby a tree. One of the cart driver went to his field, don’t know what he is doing? Here we took out the Whiskey and unite with a bottle of water, every one have a gulp and kept passing on along with Babu and the other cart driver until bottle became empty.

The cart driver came back, Tony was mount in one of the Camel, Randy
in the other Camel and I was on top of the cart. We continued our
journey, now Babu is fully swing with his mind-altering talking
nonsense. We saw desert mouse running on the way, Vultures, Fox and a
Black Buck. Babu was talking about that he have seen a Bear in a
desert and that is totally bullshit for all of us. Let’s say Babu
is in his own world.
I was sweating a lot due to the heat from Sun. I take picture of the place, picture of my buddy and made a short video. Babu used to worked in a transport organization earlier and he knows about northeast India very well. He have been to Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland and Manipur. He is the only person among our guides who knows that we are not Nepalese. He was narrating about the lifestyle of northeast people, narrating about the insurgency in northeastern states and he know very well what the insurgency are doing to get money in northeast. The other 2 guides were talking in their local dialect, I can somehow understand that both of them were talking about us and thinking that we are Nepalese. Hail to Babu for he know who we are and where we came from. The Safari keep moving on and on in the vast dry land until it is time for us to stop for lunch. It took us round about 2 hr to reach the place where we are now from the tiny hamlet.
Lunch time and the 21st Century best hunter
Everyone get down from the Camel and cart. The guides removed the provisions from the cart, Babu lay down 5 mattress in the sand for everyone, one of the guide went to tie all the camel in a hitching post and the other guide start preparing lunch.

The guide (Chef) was using dry
wood, a kind of dry tree branches using as a fuel to cook food. Our
lunch was Indian bread and vegetables. The vegetables include Potato,
Cauliflower, Onion, Garlic and many kind of spices with lots of Oil.
In the meantime, Tony went to hunt for a desert mouse using a stick
(21st
Century best hunter). By the time Tony came back from hunting, our
lunch was already prepared and it’s waiting for us to be eaten.
Unfortunately, the best hunter came back empty handed injuring his
awesome tummy. It was a cut mark from his hunting stick, he was
bleeding and luckily very little only. The mark was 8 Inches in
length and 1/2 inch in width. As we do not have any kind of first
aid, I told him to apply Turmeric, but he denied. Randy was displease
and I don’t know why? He was voiceless and motionless, I would say
Randy got an awesome spirit for Camel Safari. Dude you will be the
first person in my next Safari list hehehehehe. We had our lunch and
I can see that Randy ate just 1 Indian bread, I asked him why? Long
pause..no response means a big mystery. Done with our lunch, I washed
some of the plates. Suddenly, Tony said DaMikey they are getting
paid, so you don’t have to wash anything. I said to Tony, it’s
okey man I like what I am doing was my response............Later on
everyone took a nap.
Back from Safari and Randy with Crimson arse
Back from Safari and Randy with Crimson arse
It was late in the afternoon when we woke up. We had some photo session,
everyone took a bottle of water, pack up all the provisions and now
it’s time go back. Randy hopped into the cart immediately, Tony and
me rode a Camel. Randy might had got a Crimson arse right now because he jumped into the cart immediately. Whether you want it or not, you are grinding your arse riding a Camel
and that’s a plus point for Randy the Crimson arse hahaha. We took
the same route while coming back and this time we saw many dog, later
on I realized it was not a dog, it was actually a Fox and they were
smaller than a normal size dog. Hollaa! They run very fast, it was
out of our sight within a minutes.

Soon as we reached the place where we start our journey, Mr. Vinoo was waiting for us in his car with 2 guys from France who also came for a Camel Safari.

Mate I know you are riding a Camel
We greet each other with the foreigner, Tony said Italian to the foreigner? They respond France! Tony think that he knew Italian accent very well and that’s his big mistake hehehe. We gave a tip of 300 bill to the 3 guides, thank them for the Safari trip, said bye to them and to the foreigner as well. Mr. Vinoo asked if we would like to take sunset picture? We said no! We board Mr. Vinoo car and zoom away from Rasisar in a minute.
Visiting the Rat Temple
Mr. Vinno told us that he will be taking us to Karni Mata Temple also known as Rat Temple, which is known worldwide and very famous, so we said okey. In a couple of moment we were there in the Karni Mata Temple. We saw many foreigner and Indian tourist outside Karni Mata Temple, they were also there to visit the temple like us. We kept our shoes outside the temple where a shed was there to keep shoes for people visiting the temple. They offered a very thin kind of shoes or sandal to visitors to wear inside the temple, but we were not provided and we don't know why? Another mystery again! We saw a notice board mentioning that people need to pay Rs. 20 if they want to take cell phones inside the temple. We paid the money and went inside the Rat Temple.
![]() |
Thousands of Rats in Karni Mata Temple
I was feeling uncomfortable looking at the rats running here and there, moreover the most interesting thing was all the foreigner were wearing the thin kind of shoes or sandal among the other tourist. A very big2 mystery again hehehe. Tony took many selfies with rats, we took some pictures and came out after 20 minutes. We got our shoes from the shed and go ahead to the parking lot to board Mr. Vinoo car. We zoom out from the temple in a couples of minutes again.
Now it was dusk, I asked Mr. Vinoo if he could arrange a bus ticket for us? He called someone from his phone and said he could. Straight away he took us to the Agency were we can get the bus ticket. We pay the money, got the ticket and back to the car.
Chicken something2 with Foosball
Now, on the way to Guest House, I asked two more favor from Mr. Vinoo and that is where we can get Whiskey and Non Veg because Tony and Randy is dying to have Non Veg, which is not important for me. We got the Whiskey, but sadly Mr. Vinoo told us that we cannot eat Non Veg in his Guest House because his family is vegetarian. He dropped us to a nice Hotel were we can get a Non Veg and said he will come back to pick us up. Tony and Randy ordered a soup, Chicken Fried Rice and a bottle of water to have it here, and Chicken something2 to take away. So, we wait for our order obediently like a good kid.

Visiting Junagarh Fort
Today our plan is to visit old Forts in Bikaner. As usual I was the first person again who woke up. We look the city map thoroughly about the place where we should go. We got ready by 9 O'clock , moving on to we got a rickshaw for Junagarh Fort in the heart of Bikaner City. Originally it was call Chintamani. The Fort open at 10 O'clock, so we were a bit early to visit Junagarh Fort. We stop on the way to have breakfast to elapse our time, we had Chole and Bature, we also invite our rickshaw driver to have breakfast with us.

The gorgeous foreigner
During the tour, I saw a foreigner women who might be in her late 40s or early 50s, damnnn she look so beautiful that I got carried away with her appearance. She was with her husband visiting Junagarh Fort. If I ever got a chance to go for a date with her, I will go because she is still looking gorgeous for her age. I am pretty much sure her height might be more than 6ft because I was staring at her when I got a chance. Naughty of Mr. Cymte hehe...
No idea where to go
We came out from the Fort, now nobody have any idea where to go next?

Visiting LalGarh Palace Museum
We choose Lalgarh Palace for the next destination, got a rickshaw and zoom to Lalgarh Palace and reach in a couples of minute times. I like the rickshaw from Rajasthan , it is very low to the ground and longer . It’s very cheap to travel in Rajasthan with rickshaw and that is the best part, wherever you go the average amount they charge would be Rs. 60 to 80.

Expensive Shawl with best transportation
Now, everyone is puzzle for the next destination. We asked the driver if he could take us somewhere we can buy a Rajasthan shawl. In a moment we reached a shop where you can get different kind of Rajasthani shawl. Soon as I enter the shop I knew the price would be costly because the appearance and the interior of the shop is standard. We checked out some camel wool shawl, just as I think the price of a single shawl cost almost Rs. 2000, we said thanks, board our rickshaw and zoom out from the shop saying bye bye Camel Wool. Everyone is blank again for the next destination! I thought in my mind, I need to get at least a souvenir from Bikaner. We told the rickshaw driver to drop us in a bazar where we can get any kind of merchandise. We reached the bazar just in one phone call. He asked Rs. 100 for the rickshaw fare, I told Tony to pay him only Rs. 80. Remember this is the same rickshaw driver from Junagarh Fort who took us to Lalgarh Palace, the shawl shop and drop us to Bikaner bazar. Auto-Rickshaw is the best way for transportation in Bikaner City. So, we start looking for something to take home along with us for souvenir, we talk and walk, talk and walk and walk.

Sugarcane break
We had a Sugarcane juice, continue looking for something, which we do not know what it looks like. Tony got tired and said, you guys won't buy anything and said let's go back. Here I am trying to get something for souvenir with Randy, I thought why the hell Tony is pulling my nerve? I told him, if you want to go back, you can go then he kept numb.
No souvenir
We continue looking for souvenir, but could not find anything interesting.
We came back to the Guest House without any souvenir. That is the sad thing for me and Randy without a souvenir. Well, I don't know about Tony.
On the way to Guest House we purchased a bottle of Whiskey and some snacks.
Last festivity in Bikaner
We have a short nap then I went downstairs to meet Mr. Vinoo to pay our food and lodging fee. Lorenzo was there having his lunch, spoke with him for a little while about meeting us in Delhi when he finish with Rajasthan tour, he said he will think about it. Paid whatever we owe to Mr. Vinoo and came back to the room. We take turn taking bath then had our last festivity in Bikaner. Done with the festivity, we rest for a while again like a lazy Sloth waiting for 08:00 P.M.
Time to get back in Delhi
We woke up before 08:00 P.M., check our gear and ready to roll back in Delhi City. We went to meet Mr. Vinoo to say thanks and bye, unfortunately he was not there. I saw Mrs. Vinoo in the kitchen preparing food, straight away I went to her, said thanks to her for the room and everything they have done for us.

Babu and Mrs. Vinoo
Babu was there as well near the kitchen, I asked him whether Lorenzo is still there or not? He took us to Lorenzo room, we all hug and say bye2 to Lorenzo. It was already dusk, Babu helped us get a rickshaw then he came along to drop us in the bus station. On the way to bus station, suddenly he stop the rickshaw somewhere in the market and got down, another mystery? We gave Rs. 150 bill to him, said thanks, bye and proceed to the bus station. We board the bus for Delhi, the departure mention in the ticket was 09:00 hr, but the bus move around 09:30 P.M. No problemo Amigo, voila we are on the way back home. We got so many phone calls from Delhi asking us the timing of our arrival. Some of our friends are waiting for us with Whiskey to welcome us back in Delhi.
Morning in Delhi
We are suppose to reach Delhi by 04:30 A.M., however we reached Delhi around 06:30 A.M. Regarding delayed departure and arrival in India, I am used to it now because I have been traveling a lot. Straight away we went to our friends house, found them deeply snoring except one. Randy took the Whiskey bottles from Minthang, told him we are going to my room. We start drinking the Whiskey slowly and steady. Later on, all our friends came to my room who were snoring deeply a few minutes ago and joined us in drinking the Whiskey. While we were in Bikaner, we keep updating our daily activities to them, so we all start blah, blah and blah together again and again.
Tony the smart arse
Tony did something which I thought was very stupid, but I was wrong. He filled a sand in a bottle while we were in the Came Safari, which he brought back with him in Delhi. That's the best thing Tony did for the 3 of us to get a souvenir from Bikaner.
